I added scans of Carrie and Mike in People Magazine: their wedding issue. Thanks to Superiorpics.
Country singer Carrie Underwood and Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher have been enjoying their Tahitian honeymoon, while also taking in French Polynesian sights via underwater and by air, according to People .
“Carrie and Mike have enjoyed swimming and snorkeling with reef sharks,” a source tells the magazine. “They also toured the island via helicopter.”
While the couple finds time for adventuresome activities, they also find time to be alone in their luxurious overwater bungalow.
“They have also spent some quiet alone time on their deck,” says the source. “They looked so happy together and can’t stop kissing and doting on each other.”
The source adds, “[They also] would not let go of each other’s hands when they were escorted to their bungalow. They looked very much like happy and excited newlyweds.”
The newly weds got married on July 10 at Georgia’s Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation resort and arrived in Tahiti just two days later.

It’s no surprise that the newly married Carrie Underwood was the most-played American Idol act on radio last week, according to Mediabase. After all, she’s got a fast-rising single in Undo It, currently No. 3 on USA TODAY’s Country. And she was all over the news this week, with her wedding to hocky player Mike Fisher (the couple is reportedly honeymooning in Bora Bora and Tahiti).
But let’s take a look at Carrie’s catalog and see which songs picked up airplay and which ones lost.
Other than Undo It, these Carrie tracks saw the biggest airplay increases last week:
•Last Name (+119 spins)
•Wasted (-74 spins)
1 1 Carrie Underwood, Undo It (8737) (#3 Country)
While heading for her honeymoon, Carrie Underwood was spotted playing with a new band gracing her ring finger. The “Inside Your Heaven” singer, who married ice hockey star Mike Fisher on July 10, put her biggest smile as she passed through Los Angeles International Airport, the day after her wedding.
Carrie went casual in jean shorts, a striped tank top, cardigan and big glasses, while Mike donned a gray T-shirt, jeans, black glasses and a baseball cap. A source told Us Magazine that the newlyweds were heading to an exotic getaway in Bora Bora.
And although Carrie and Mike were said eloping in a lavish nuptials, a source working at a hotel, where the couple swapped vows, told the site that the party was “down-to-earth” and it “wasn’t really flashy.” A waiter who worked at the bash, additionally, shared, “The wedding was gorgeous,” adding that guests were treated with “a Southern flavor” food, “delicious” cupcakes and “there was a lot of eating [and] a lot of drinking.”
The source added, “No one had a trace of attitude… everyone was super friendly.” Another witness revealed, “It wasn’t one of those crazy weddings you hear about in Hollywood. It was a nice party for a nice couple.”
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher began dating after they met at one of Carrie’s concerts in 2008. The pair got engaged in December 2009 before they finally tied the knot at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Georgia, on Saturday night, July 10. Post the wedding, they released a statement which read, “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us.”
After saying “I Do” in front of more than 200 guests in a luxe country ceremony in Georgia, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have jetted off on their honeymoon. The newlyweds were spotted in Los Angeles’ LAX airport Sunday afternoon. “They’re going to Bora Bora and Tahiti,” a source told UsMagazine.com.
After their nuptials, the couple released a statement: “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” They signed it “Mike & Carrie Fisher.” Underwood, 27, wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown to say her vows to Fisher, 30, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, under a lakeside tent in a ceremony estimated to cost $500,000.
After a year of dating, Fisher popped the question last December with a 12-carat ring worth about $800,000. “We’re both obviously excited and very happy,” Fisher said at the time.
